Cheerfully whiz downhill
The Reither-Joch-Alm outdoor toboggan run has car parking and toboggan hire facilities.
Taken the safety advice below seriously so that you can enjoy carefree tobogganing with your family:
Dress warmly and wear stout footwear with non-slip soles; also take ski goggles, gloves and a torch.
Make sure that your children are protected with a helmet.
A plastic bobsleigh is not suitable for outdoor toboggan runs!
Stay to the edge of the run as you climb up and keep dogs on a short lead.
Stay away from blind spots.
Watch out especially for car traffic when tobogganing!
“Don’t drink and drive” also applies to tobogganing!
You should always exercise care, especially where there are icy, particularly difficult or blind spots.
If you’re tobogganing with a group at night, it is important that you regularly check that everyone is there.
Call out loudly before you reach a blind spot to warn walkers that you are coming.
Have a good time.
