The symbol of Seefeld: The Seekirchl church

The church, a pearl of Tyrolean baroque architecture - it is also called the Heiligkreuzkirche (Church of the Holy Cross) - captivates above all because of the unusual combination of cupola and onion dome. Originally the little church stood in the middle of a lake that was however drained at the beginning of the 19^th century.

High above the Inn valley rings the largest bell in the Tyrol: Created in the famous bell foundry of Grassmayr in Innsbruck, it reminds people of peace and neighbourliness and stands for the cross-border cooperation of the ARGE ALP countries (working community of Alpine countries).

In the middle of the breathtaking Alpine landscape a magnificent panoramic view over the Tyrolean Inn valley unfolds. Daily at 5 pm you have the opportunity listen to the sound of this heavy bell.

The Friedensglocken hiking trail promises a great experience for two where you can rediscover your old feelings: Leaving from the car park at the Seewald-Alm, you and your partner will experience unspoilt nature on a path that takes you about 90 minutes - take deep breaths and relax.

You walk from the parish church of St. Oswald in Seefeld on the Pfarrhügel (Parish Hill) to the stone circle.
Erratic boulders up to 23 tonnes in weight represent the Last Supper. The monument was completed for the summer solstice in the year 2000. The place is considered to be one of the most mystical places in the region and offers a peaceful meeting point for people of all world religions.

This year everything in the 39^th Seefeld Blumencorso took place against the background of the upcoming European Football Championship 2008. In Seefeld - top destination for football training camps -   

teams such as Dynamo Kiev or Olympiakos Piraeus are meanwhile among the regular guests. Starting from the Olympiaregion you can easily get to all games in Austria and Switzerland.

Magnificently decorated cars, huge bouquets of flowers and a happy throng of people - every year on the first Sunday in August: an expression of joie de vivre, happiness and love.

Every year in August the whole village is bathed in romantic illumination.  Bars on the street offer refreshing drinks, there is dancing and music: Dance together into happiness!

Seefeld Advent - pre-Christmas atmosphere, punch and magical lighting

Every year at the end of January wonderful show sculptures adorn the whole village. At this time a unique ambiance gives Seefeld a particular air.  The street is alive, there is laughter. Join in the laughter and let your love grow wings again with a glass of mulled wine or orange punch.
