Book the Veronika Activity Hotel Family Nature Weekand roam through the realm of the Spirit Gorge with our team of guides.
Everyone has heard of spirits, goblins and dwarfs. They are said to be at home in the unspoilt world of nature. Yet very few humans have actually managed to see any of these creatures…
Right at the back of the Leutasch Gorge, when we enter the forest through the entrance to the ravine, we sense a strange and mysterious sort of reality.
It is the realm of the Spirit of the Gorge, who gets up to all sorts of mischief deep down in his roaring, bubbling castle of bottomless eddies and whirlpools, of hissing waterfalls and strange rock formations. An exciting path allows us to peer into the breathtaking home of the Spirit of the Gorge. The goblins of the Gorge and the water dwarfs live right at the mouth of the Gorge, which can reach up to 75 m deep in places. They are all creatures of nature that we can only see and hear if we leave our everyday lives behind and immerse ourselves in the mysterious world of the Spirit Gorge.
The path through the Gorge is unsuitable for dogs and push chairs. Cycling is not allowed.
