Innsbruck - the bridge over the Inn (originally "Inspruk") has given its name to this pretty little place - looks back on an eventful history and you can still admire the art treasures today. The town has twice been the venue of the Winter Olympics (1964 and 1974) and every year on the Bergisel ski jump, the famous four Jump Tournament takes place. The ski jump was, by the way, rebuilt in 2001 by the Austrian Ski Federation. |
